Sealing poly bags and shrink film cleanly is what keeps product in the package and returns off your desk. Precocity supplies table-top and semi-automatic sealers for Southern California pack lines: hand and foot impulse sealers, table-top L-sealers, I-bar / straight bar sealers, bag tapers, and larger L-sealers that feed a shrink tunnel.

Impulse, L-bar, I-bar, and bag tapers

Impulse sealers are the everyday choice for polyethylene bags — variable timers handle a range of gauges (many foot models seal up to about 6 mil on standard 110V). Table-top L-sealers with a discharge table and hole punch fit short-run shrink work; sizes commonly span seal areas around 12″×18″ up through 24″×32″. I-bar sealers pair well with PVC shrink film and a heat gun for simple overwrap jobs. Bag tapers close poly bags with tape when heat sealing is not required. Semi-automatic L-sealers with magnetic hold-down and powered discharge are the step up when volume grows — see also our shrink wrap systems.

Film, bags, and service

We can quote the sealer with matching shrink film or poly bags, plus service kits (elements and PTFE cloth) for impulse units. If cases need to move into the sealer without lifting, ask about conveyors for the infeed.

Foot Operated Impulse Sealer

Variable timer controls add sealing flexibility. The sealer will work on up to 6 Mil poly. Foot Operated Impulse Sealers use standard 110-volt power. Service kits containing 2 heating elements and 2 PTFE glass cloth tape strips are available for each sealer.

PP-1622MK L' Sealers

This semi-automatic L’ Sealer has a 22″ L x 16″ wide seal area to accommodate most product sizes and features a magnetic arm hold down and power discharge conveyor to automatically transfer the product into a shrink tunnel.

"I" Bar or Straight Bar Sealers
